At the Sail Inn, a bed and breakfast guest house, we strive to provide an intimate personal setting for overnight guests in a quaint, historic home. We are located across from the Tryon Palace and craft shop, two houses from the Gardens and Palace Visitor's Center, next door to the Chadwick Café, and half a block away from Trolley tours.

In the hallway, two servers provide a place for a pot of fresh coffee which is always ready and provide the location for the continental breakfast in the mornings. A small refrigerator/freezer in the hall keeps sodas and ice always at hand. Enjoy our social hour each evening with cheese cake, coffee or soft-drinks.

Our table and chairs, love-seat, deacon's bench are a perfect place to sit and leaf through the tour books of New Bern on our shelves or just chat with the owners or other guests. We have games to play at the table and magazines about the area to browse through. There is a supply of current and classic movie DVDs you can borrow and enjoy in the privacy of your bedroom. The roll-top desk in the corner serves as our office and a telephone is at your disposal here.
